Great Espresso

Just bought a new espresso machine. First brew out of the machine was a Cafe Cubano, and this bean made a very smooth drinkable espresso.

It's great coffee and the ease of buying it online is great. Trying to track it has been difficult. The tracking number doesn't seem to work to follow its progress of getting here.

how fresh is it?

I thought the expiration date was a little early, March 28 on coffee shipped Feb 6. Delivery was prompt, actually earlier than I expected so it sat in the box outside for a few days. Haven't tasted it yet.

Smooth with no after taste.

We normally use Breakfast Blend and wanted to try something more flavorful. We use it in a drip coffeemaker. Makes wonderful smooth, full flavored coffee that is not overpowering or bitter. No strong aftertaste. This is our new standard for now on.

My favorite !! I buy the whole bean and grind and brew only one mug at a time.......that way i get the perfect brew and benefit of a burst of freshly ground coffee. What makes this a great coffee to me is that it is never bitter or overly acidic. Its deep rich and smooth each time...I love it especially on a day off when i sit at my desk and check out my email or sit chatting w/friends...such a satisfying part of the day.
