Still a wonderful blend, but other Starbucks dark roasts, notably Italian Roast and Komodo Dragon, have knocked Caffe Verona out first place.

Inconsistent Quality

The quality of the coffee varies greatly, even within the same box. Some pods make a great cup of coffee and others (2-3 per box) brew much weaker coffee.

My favorite coffee

I use Verona and Verona decaf whole bean coffee to make a half caffenated version for our daily brew. Verona is a long time favorite in our home, visitors often comment on how good the coffee is- the good water there is also part of the equation. So glad the recent coffees I received were dated so that they will be usable for a few months. Earlier shipments were out of date before I could use them.

This is my all time favorite coffee! I love a strong dark coffee...and this one is awesome! Smooth and rich....just a wonderful black liquid gold in your cup each morning that makes you go...Mmmm I go out of my way to find good coffee and will rather not drink any than to drink weak or bad coffee...if you want a good one...here it is!
