I have come to love the bold brews from Starbucks and now I feel like I am downgrading when I have anything else! Nothing compares, Verona is the best!

But it's changed. I noticed the label had changed and didn't think anything of it. But the first sip was definitely different than the Verona I had been drinking for many years. It had hints of cinnamon and was more bitter...definitely a much "stronger" cup of coffee than I wanted. Not nearly as smooth.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Verona has been my favorite for years. I like the bold deep flavor with no bitterness. Has a chocolate undertone which is probably why it's my fav:)

At 66 I've had a lot of coffee in my life. Since living as an expat I've tried to substitute fine Italian coffees - and the issue is not that one is better than the other. It is the taste I'm used to and that is the taste that means 'morning' Two mugs in the morning makes the world a great place to be. I love my Verona Beans.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Starbucks Caffe Verona that had separate small sealed cans of coffee. This was great, because each one was enough for a pot of coffee. Having each one sealed made the coffee taste fresher.
