Bold flavor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Starbucks flavor, Verona & French cups have a bold flavor. This was great for mornings. It was very bold, but greatly enjoyable. I loved this for getting my day started. I will keep using this one. The kcups make it easy for me to have a great coffee at home! I received this in exchange for my opinion.

It pairs well with cream and sugar and iholds its flavor well. Not too bitter like some other dark roasts. I definitely recommend this for true coffee lovers. #freesample

Fell in love on the first sip!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed the notes of dark cocoa and carmelized sugar. I like to drink it while eating chocolate as it in fact does pair well. The pods make a perfect 8 oz cup of coffee. Clean up was easy since it was in the pod form. It was a little bit too bitter for me but other then that it was perfect.

There’s a noticeable roasted intensity right up front, but it’s not harsh. It leans more toward a smooth, full-bodied scent with hints of cocoa and a subtle nuttiness underneath.
The first sip is where it really settles in. It’s robust without being overwhelming, full-bodied, with a weight that lingers on your tongue in a satisfying way. You get that classic bold coffee backbone, but it’s layered. There’s a gentle bitterness that feels intentional, balanced by a soft, almost velvety undertone that rounds everything out. Depending on how you catch it, there are slight notes of dark chocolate and maybe even a faint toasted sweetness.
