[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of the Caffee Verona Ground Cofee. It has a pleasant taste and I can recognize the hint of cocoa but didn't notice as much the caramelized sugar taste. This was more of a stronger brew of coffee which brewed great in both my Keurig and traditional coffee maker..

Caffè Verona has always been my favorite BUT...

Caffè Verona has always been my favorite. It's rich and the notes are just as Starbucks states. But the last batches and my last two purchases the lovely flavor that was Caffè Verona is gone. I'm so disappointed. Out of all of the Starbuacks coffees, Caffè Verona is unmatched, until now. Please, quality control, look into the situation and correct what is wrong. Please bring back the best Starbucks coffee ever, Caffè Verona. Normally, I'd give Caffè Verona 5 stars. BUT... something has changed. It tastes horrible now. I'm giving it 3 stars until Startbucks fixes whatever it is that's changed. I'll try a few more purchases but if it doesn't revert back to the Caffè Verona I've known and loved for years, I'll stop purchasing it.

Ok what just happened? I bought this ground coffee around 4 months ago it was the best coffee i ever tasted. Bought this thing again and its the complete opposite. It went from being the best to like really crap. Like from a 9/10 to a 2/10. Is this a bad batch? Im seeing many reviews of people saying the same thing.

We have been drinking Verona for over 15 years and it was the best coffee ever!!! However, recently something has changed and it tastes super bitter. I don’t know if the beans have gone bad or Starbucks has changed something. The new packaging is sometimes vacuum sealed and sometimes not. I am sooo disappointed. Starbucks please tell me what’s going on???

This is the BEST coffee that Starbucks has EVER put out. Over the years, Ethiopian, Kenya went by the wayside. I do like the Sumatra, but PLEASE don’t stop offering this coffee!!! IT IS THE BOMB! Sweet, chocolate overtones, a little spicy/peppery and brown sugary sweet.
I would recommend this to a friend!
