I am a very picky coffee drinker and Cafe' Verona is by far my favorite. It's strong enough to add creamer and such to it and still keep its flavor but not too strong to enjoy simply black. I would highly reccomend this coffee to people.
Big bold flavour, but little to no acidity. This is great as a 12oz cup in the K-Cup machines, or even better as iced coffee if your Keurig supports it. Not for the faint of heart, this is a coffee you will love at the beginning and then as you discern the subtle flavours, it will grow on you even more!
If this isn't the coffee I have in the morning, my morning isn't complete. This is my favorite roast! You can make it as strong or weak as you like and still have the great taste and quality.
Have had a few dark roasts thru the years, and while this one isn't bad, it just isn't something I'd buy again. Not very aromatic, and consequently, not as rich in flavor. It would be good for someone who had never had, or didn't like French Roast; especially if medium was your favorite. Maybe a good starter dark, but not for anyone who drinks/loves French or Italian roast.
I am not a coffee connoisseur... But Caffe Verona, is a dark roasted full bodied coffee... It is not bitter at all... Unlike a lot of dark roast coffees that have a "Smokey" flavor... I call it a "Burnt" flavor.... Caffe Verona does not have a hint of "Smokey" ... I Love this coffee... I would recommend or serve Caffee Verona to anyone...
The Verona is one of favorites, both regular and decaf. I wish the Decaf would be offered on the site in ground. We don't own a grinder anymore, so we buy all of our coffee ground.
