[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Downhill Race & Go Play Set to review through Mattel's Play, Rate & Review program for my 7 year old son. This is the type of toy he would see in a commercial and immediately start asking for. I most likely would not have gotten it for him, so I am extremely glad I got to try it out through this program. This is a great toy! It holds his attention for hours, and he is constantly calling me into the room to do an "instant replay" of his last race. It is sturdy enough for his 3 year old brother to join in on the play with him. I also love how easy it is to fold it up and move it for storage (when I can get my sons to stop playing with it). I highly recommend this for any child that is interested in cars and trucks or just enjoys the anticipation of seeing toys crash.

Best toy especially for monster truck lovers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My almost 6 year and 4 year old boys are constantly asking for us to build ramps. We happily do so in lots of creative ways, but this toy totally changed the game! Both of my boys are obsessed with monster trucks and we have a collection of at least 100 including small and large ones. The ramp makes it hours of fun! I really love that it folds down and it’s more compact. We have lots of different race car tracks that we always have to take apart for clean up which is always a hassle. It is super easy to put together as well which is nice since my 4 year old is super rough and pulls toys apart a lot! This would definitely be a toy I would purchase, not only for my kids but as gifts for others as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys both love this Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Downhill Race and Go Play Set. They love monster trucks, so this was the perfect set for them to play together. It was easy to put together. My husband had it done in a matter of minutes. It’s easy to convert from the truck to the track. It’s well made and sturdy. They did manage to pop it apart, but it was super easy to put back together. It’s great because you can use the monster trucks or regular Hot Wheels. They love racing their trucks and this was definitely a hit toy at our house.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my grandson and was very excited for him to play with it. I put it together Christmas morning and the pieces aren’t long enough for the thing to operate as it supposed to. The ramp collapses before the race even begins.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has finally hit the hot wheels stage. This is the first "track" he's gotten & we couldn't be happier. Incredibly easy to put together. The directions are just pictures but you have no problem following them. I was worried about how sturdy it would be & how well it would hold up after he "transformed" it into the carrying case over & over but so far, we've had no trouble at all. He's 4 & can easily snap/unsnap some of the pieces to build his own different little ramps as he wants then put them all back together. He loves the little tricky pop out piece around the middle of the ramp that makes the slower cars skid out & lose the race. Getting it out of the packaging is literally my only complaint because you basically had to tear up the box to get it all out. Other than that, it's a 100% yes from my boy & I. Almost a week later & he still drags it out to play with so it's definitely kept his interest. I would highly recommend this. You'll have no regrets.

They were able to build it themselves , easily stored away .

My 5 year old hasn't stopped playing with it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is very much into a cars and trucks phase and is always wanting tracks for them to race. This set was easy enough for my five year old to put together on his own (I did the stickers). He moves it from room to room and has "transformed" it over and over and we haven't had any issues with it falling apart or breaking. The only issue is that the gray hook that serves as a hitch has fallen out a couple of times. He's raced cars and trucks of all sizes on it, and even drove his remote control monster truck up it with no issue. Every night before bed he folds it into trailer mode and tows it into his bedroom for the night, and any toy that encourages him to pick up his mess is a win by me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves his Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Downhill Race & Go Play Set. It's his favorite toy. He loves that it came with two new little cars, that it's much bigger and longer than we thought it would be, that he puts his cars on the top of the toy and they start rolling down and go in different directions because of how the toy makes them go, that I put it together and it didn't take long to do because the instructions were very good, detailed, and showed good pictures. He wakes up every morning and it's the first toy he starts playing with and he plays with it for a very good while. I really like this toy because I love how much fun my son has playing with it.
