Amazing track builder!

My son got this for his 8th birthday hes a hot wheel obsessed he enjoyed setting this up with a little help. Its almost 5 ft it does take alot of space but it does keep him busy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Fun Toy

BIG FUN

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is extremely fun. The whole family enjoyed playing with this and having races. This is a very big toy and required lots of room, but it can connect with other hot wheel tracks for endless fun. This made for very happy boys!

It’s neat but not consistent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were super excited to try the vertical launch kit out! It attaches to the wall using command strips and it says to wait an hour after putting the strips on the wall before attaching the pieces to it. That was the first mistake because my kids have no concept of time. Also it takes up a lot of space and in different directions on the floor so I didn’t leave enough space on the side. When it works, the kids love it but the car doesn’t always make it up the ramp. Also ,you have to hit the launcher pretty hard to get the car all the way of the ramp. Another issue we had was that the pieces do fall off occasionally. They are easy to stick back to the wall but my 7 year old needs help to do it. There is another section that you can drop the car through on the side but you have to be tall to reach it. My 7 year old reaches it fine. Overall, I think some kinks need to be worked out but this toy is not good for alone play.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

HOT WHEELS TRACK

Hours of fun

Great Idea, Poor Execution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received this item I was thinking "My Son is going to love this!", but when I opened the box to read the instructions, my mind was quickly changed.
It took me about an hour to put this together. The instructions were not totally clear on certain parts and you end up just figuring it out as you go.
Once all put together, I tested it to make sure it would work. 9 out of 10 times, the car doesn't make it up the track. My Son had a really hard time getting any vehicle to go up the track and would often get frustrated. Half the time the cars ended up launching into the wall the track is on, and as a parent, I wasn't happy about that.
This also takes up a lot of room, but can be stored easily.
For the reasons above, but mostly because of the frustrations my Son had, I would not purchase this item.

It works best with regular 1:64 scale sports cars or sedans. Bulky or too heavy cars, such as vans, trucks or buses won’t work as well.
