Looks cool but functionality could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it takes a bit to get this set up as you have to let the 3M sticky mount set for an hour before you can finish assembly. my kids struggled with getting the launch pad to get the car all the way up to the top so that it could go down one of the other features. That resulted in them just putting the cars in the top and then the track came away from the wall often.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Entertained the kids!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The setup for this track was average. There were lots of parts and lots of help from the kids. I was surprised how it worked. The kids loved how it can change were the cars go. It entertained the kids for a long time. My only complaint is there was little nicks in my wall from the cars falling off the track.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy went beyond my expectations! It was very easy to put together even though I was worried it would need some adjusting, it didn't. Very fun to have 2 rrack options. We didn't think the car could get up the ramp, but it sure can and it is fun that it doesn't always do it because it makes it more exciting when it does. All 3 of my kids enjoy playing with it, they are 8, 6 and 4.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This launch track is so much fun a different from anything we’ve had before. My 3 year old son and my 7 year old daughter has played with the track everyday since we got it. I also had my 2 nieces over and they all sat and played for about an hour with just one car! I never get this much play time out of one toy! Mattel made the set up super easy and to put it all together took less than 30 minutes by myself. And to be completely honest I’m not the best at building these things. It does take up a lot of space but can either be taken completely down and stored or just stored against the wall where it hangs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son really enjoyed playing with this track and switching around the configurations. There is a bit of a learning curve on how hard you have to hit the launcher but after a few tries he got it.

Ultimate track set for Hot Wheels fans

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One thing I didn't account for when choosing this... SPACE! You need a good amount of wall space and play space to put this together. You also need someone who is patient enough to put this together as it's not for the younger ones to put together. Pretty awesome set-up for traditional Hot Wheels sets.

The kids are loving it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly would give this four and a half stars, as for the most part it's a really nice product. The majority of my kids love playing with toy cars, so I figured this would be a hit. (Those that don't currently, did when they were younger.) Even our six-month old kitten thinks it's pretty cool, since it shoots out fast moving cars for him to chase across the floor. ;)
It is for the most part not terribly hard to put together. There are a few parts where I really had to compare pieces to the pictures in the instructions to be absolutely sure, and it's hard to find the molded letters on some of the pieces, but it was only very minor struggles here and there. The wall template that helps you place the Command strips was great, and following it we had no troubles with them being in the correct location. We gave plenty of time for them to cure (more than the minimum hour it states is needed - I put them up the night before), and have so far had no trouble with them coming off the wall, either.
You do have to be able to hit the launcher fairly hard to get the cards to actually launch through the top curve. So my younger children (4 & 6) have had a bit of a harder time with this. It's not really suggested for the 4-year-old anyway, but he still enjoys playing with it, especially with help from his older siblings. My 8-year-old on up have better luck with it. That being said, you also can't hit the launcher too hard, or the cars potentially fly off the track. The top curve is really easy to switch between the double loop and the spiral drop. We have had more success with the double loop working correctly than the spiral drop, though. Cars don't always drop correctly from the top curve into the spiral drop - I'd say at least 50% of the time their either miss it, or drop into it in such a way that they're no longer on their wheels. (And yes, we have made sure it's all lined up correctly.) Despite that, though, the track has still been seeing a fair amount of use, with the double loop side being a bit more popular. The car that comes with it obviously works pretty well on it, as do many other Hot Wheels cars - they mainly just can't be too tall for the top loop, as the only ones we have that are too wide aren't actually Hot Wheels brand cars.
It does tend to become a bit loose from the velcro Command strips occasionally, mainly just due to the forces in action, so you'll need to occasionally reseat it. And it's also pretty easy store the longer pieces away and still keep some of it up if you want to. (There's a picture included in the instructions on how to do so.) You can also just easy take the whole thing down, leaving the Command strips up to set it all back up again, though I might suggest saving the instructions at that point until you've gotten used to fully taking it down and setting it back up.
All in all, this has been greatly enjoyed by my kids so far, even occasionally my 15-year-old, who entertains the 4-year-old and kitten with it, just for the joy of watching the two of them get all excited as the cars shoot out of it. I'd definitely recommend it if you have fans of Hot Wheels and toy cars in your house, and it's a great toy for having a wide range of ages play together.
