Color Cars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These cars were a hit! They can be used like a standard toy car and played with in various ways. They also have color change ability! So they are really fun to use in the water, inside and outside. They are also fun to put in the freezer before play.

Fun cars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves all types of cars and trucks and loves that these change colors. Keeps him interested and playing for a long time. Set him up in an area but make sure to put a towel down. Only thing is water can make a mess but we use towels to mitigate any spillage.

We love these color shifters cars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With two boys at home, we are just so tired of having cars laying around and shooting off the tracks. When we got these color shifters cars, they were playing with them for a surprising long enough time. They requested two bins so we set out two water temps bins for them to shoot from cold to hot and see the color changes. A little messy but good way to add a little different type of fun.

Okay but Not Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My two boys are both big fans of Hot Wheels. The Hot Wheels Color Shifters Vehicle 5-Pack was given to my 7 year old. He was thrilled to receive more Hot Wheels since he loves them. He was even more excited to learn that they changed color by using water. (He loves anything involving water play.)
Right away, he opened the packaging, and he put them under water, but they didn't change. My husband had to help him, and eventually, the cars started to change colors a little. Once they were able to get them to change, my son started playing with the cars by himself. I think he got bored of how slow they did change. He was expecting something instant. After about 10 minutes, he got bored with trying to make them change colors.
I will say, as with all Hot Wheels cars, these were made very sturdy and durable for extreme play so there's that. They are built to take the rough and tumble of kids who don't play easy with their toys (like my kid).
However, this would be better off as just regular Hot Wheels cars because it takes too long for the colors to change, and it's not easy for a child to figure out how to get them to change. Personally, I'd just stick with regular Hot Wheels cars.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome color changing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are very cool cars. When they change colors they stay the color until you run hot or cold water on them again. Which is very neat I thought they would turn back when you took them out of the ice.

Color change fun for bathtime

Fun for kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These cars are fun for younger boys. I think they would be a lot of fun in the spring/summer while playing with a water table and watching the cars change colors. My son enjoyed watching them change colors. They're well made and fun to play with.
