I bought this toy on a whim for my daughter (it was on sale) and I am so glad I did. It is absolutely adorable. She loves the puppies and the fact that they can go "potty". It would be great if there was an option to buy additional bones as they are pretty small and could easily get lost in thick carpeting/rugs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So the barbie comes with 4 little dogs. 2 plain ones then 1 that pees and one that has bones come out of its tail. The one that pees comes with a water bottle that you fill and give it to it then you move its leg and it pees on this newspaper that turns yellow when water hits it. Then the other one you give these little brown bones and pull its tail and it comes out. My 3 yr old found this hilarious. Everything worked as described worked perfectly fine she enjoys it alot.
My only thing is a lot of the pieces are extremely small even for a 3 yr old. I would personally say its more for a 5 and up that will be more cautious with such small pieces. Other than that it is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fun for Hours!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My newly turned 4 year old daughter was very excited to receive this Barbie in the mail. When it arrived, she was not disappointed! She has a giant imagination, and this toy has all the parts needed to keep her imagination going for hours. I love that it comes with a variety of dogs, instead of just one. The quality of this toy is great, none of the parts seemed cheap or flimsy at all, even the water bottle and the newspaper. My daughter was very excited about the ability of one dog to replicate going to the bathroom, both ways! If you aren't familiar, one of the dogs is able to 'drink' water, and it comes out the other end. Additionally, there are 3 tiny little bones included, that the dog 'eats' and then when his tail is pushed, they come out the other end. This definitely led to lots of giggles and fun for the four year old. The only issue I had with this is how tiny the bones are. When she would play with the bones on her carpet (granted, it was high pile carpet) we kept losing the bones in the carpet. Besides this small issue, this is a great toy and I would absolutely recommend it for other parents to purchase!

Cute Puppies But It Poops??

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both of my girls loved the cute puppies that came with the doll. The tiny bones were cute and the bottle for the one dog. I wasn’t aware before I got it that two of the dogs went potty. I’d say more but my first review was flagged for profanity just for describing the function of the toy! Anyways that was exactly what I was not a fan of about the toy...the one dog went number two. Too many kid toys focus on the toilet lately.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a great product but it seems it still has problems to receive. Although it has the warning instructions I think there is plenty of room to improve the toy. The dog bones are a little too small even for the age requirement. Overall its a fun toy to play with...would be better without all the problems the dog has.

Teaching Kids Responsibility

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is 3 years old and was so excited to receive this Barbie. She loves anything to do with animals. Sometimes it’s hard to get kids to play with things for longer than a day. But she asks me to play with this play set every day. We have to put it away some place safe so my 2 year old does not get to. This is because of the small pieces. It is very interactive and easy for my 3 year old to use by herself and keep her busy. The one dog is given water and goes on newspaper, and the newspaper turns yellow! The other dog eats bones and gets rid of them out of the back of the dog. The other two dogs do not do anything but she still loves them.
The packaging and the very small bones. Be very careful when opening the package because of the small pieces that can fall out and get lost very quickly. We were careful with the package when opening. The next con is again the small parts. The bones are very small and hard to find in a carpet or really any floor. She has already lost one on the first day but now she is more careful.
It helps teach responsibility because she is using imaginative play to help Barbie take care of her puppies. The puppies need water and food and then they relive themselves. She puts the dog on the newspaper to go to the bathroom and feeds the dog and takes care of the mess they make. I would definitely recommend this product and also purchase this for other little girls. This is very fun also for mom and daughter to play with together!
