Great idea, but lacking in design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lightning McQueen racetrack is really cute...unfortunately it came with a few problems. The molding was not complete on one of the track pieces and there was no way to attach it. We ended up having to tape it to the next piece. We also had to tape the track together at the top of the loop as it would not stay together. I'm not sure if the track is supposed to shoot the race car around continuously but the car stops short of the motor and has to be pushed through the motor each time. My boys don't seem to mind any of these problems though and have enjoyed playing with it regardless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So much fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was so excited to play with the Race Around Radiator Springs Playset. The playset was not difficult to put together - a fun project for the two of us. We live in a small space, so we have to reassemble and dissemble each time we want to play because it is fairly large. However, it is worth the effort! Unfortunately, ever since we first put it together, one of our tracks continuously comes apart from the rest of the track - even when no cars are running. So, I tend to have to hold the track in place. Duct tape might solve this problem for us. However, if I had paid full price for this item, I would be more disappointed. Otherwise, we are very pleased with the set.

Worst design ever.

I bought this for my 3 year old nephew and it is NOT staying put together. Absolutely biggest waste of $50 and now I will have to glue it together or tape it. He loves it. I am just extremely upset that it was $50 and doesn’t stay together at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to assemble, fun to play

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old son is very independent and likes to do as just as possible on his own. The instructions were well written (mostly pictures but he could easily tell the steps) and he was able to almost completely set up on his own after I applied the stickers.
As much as he liked putting it together, he really enjoys playing with it. He has used every car he owns doing his own experiments to see which will work and which won't.
Great value for hours of play!!

Perfect play set for boys

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice, self-contained set - and it actually has the cars included so you don't have to buy anything else. It is a fun set and the kids (two boys, aged 6 and 9) loved playing with it. They love all things CARS and this was no exception. These mini-racers are, well, mini - so they are smaller than a typical "Hot Wheel" sized car, but that didn't seem to bother them at all. And since the track is self-contained, they had a great time crashing the cars and playing with each other . Set up was fairly easy and only thing it didn’t come with is batteries , but still it worked as described and my boys played hours on it , so great toy for taking time away from electronics games or iPads . I would highly recommend it to friends and family .

Awesome toy

Even my kitten enjoyed going after the car! They take turns racing Lightning McQueen. It was very easy to set up and it did not take long!

Great concept but Very noisy toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very appealing toy. My boys have been quite enamored by its charms. (“Looks awesome and fun.” -Maddox, age 7) The assembly was easy and quick and both boys (ages 5 and 7) were eager to help. The track is heavy and much better in quality than in the past. Love the way it clicks together and doesn’t pinch tiny hands.
However, adding batteries was a recommendation before we could really assemble the track. The noise it makes is definitely a negative. It’s very loud and hard to hear oneself think. There are 2 speeds on the track, which is better for noise control but the cars seem to get stuck and the faster speed is really the only one able to prevent the cars from getting backed up and stopping.
All in all, a fantastic toy but I can see why parents could gravitate away from this particular track. My boys loved it and play with it every day. I’d give it 5 stars would it not have been for the noise.
