First impressions were great on this product, the concept was exciting for my 6 year old and something new that we hadn't seen before.
The set up was easy and instructions were clear. Initial responses to the play doh were that the it didn't smell very nice although the smell did fade as time went on.
The functionality worked well although there is a knack to getting the cake rise correct, the child must make sure they hold the unit down while pulling the leaver as the unit is not quite heavy enough (understandably) to not fall over when using this 'cake rise' function.
Instructions were clear on how to get any extra small amounts dough out of the oven part so that was great.
The set as a whole had lots of accessories and a doll also and this was a big hit, the playability was good and engaging, especially as after the initial 'cooking' process there were things to 'decorate' the cakes with.
Overall really quite impressed with this product.

Brilliant for little girls.

We brought this about three weeks ago for our 7 year old girl and she loves it. Not only can she play with barbies but she can pretend to make cakes with the play dough. Everything she loves.We would recomend this for your girls.
