This washing machine has helped me get out baseball clay dirt from white pants better than any cleaners, scrubbing, soaking in a tub with bleach, etc. This washing machine has a pre-treat where the water comes out and hits the soiled clothes in a manner that has cleaned dirty baseball pants better than ever. The auto-dispense is a nice feature, the machine itself is very nice plus high capacity.
I have owned this machine for five months and have had a repairman here three times. The machine will not spin properly when only half full with towels. I did everything suggested, including deep fill and adding extra water and adding drain/spin. I think I have a lemon. I was told I’d hear from customer care within 48 hours October 7. Nada.
I basically like this washer. But there are a few things I'm having trouble with. The drum is so deep that I had to buy a small step stool so that I can reach small items in the bottom. I am 5 feet 7 and 1/2 in tall, so I am surprised that I had such a problem and discomfort from leaning over the edge and trying to reach the items in the bottom. I also miss having a permanent press feature. The delicate cycle doesn't seem to be as effective as the permanent press cycle I have on my first GE washer.
I love the size of the drum and the fact that it has an actual agitator. It’s quiet and easy to use. The one disappointing feature is that when you use the Bulky Setting the drum goes off kilter (even when the load is equally distributed) and it doesn't get all of the water out during the spin cycle hence having to run the rinse and spin cycle after the initial cycle
Excellent super capacity washer! This puppy runs much quieter than my old machine. I don't even have to close the laundry room door anymore to keep the noise down. Love it! The Auto Dispensing Detergent is a great function - no more mess! The extra deep drum holds extra large loads, so now I can wash my king size suede comforter at home - no more laundromat runs!
