We are very pleased with our washer, it is has very large capacity and cleans the clothes very well. The only thing I would ask GE to improve is to provide a way to add the OXY powder in the dispenser (currently I just add it directly to the washer before I add my clothes. Also, it would be great if GE could provide a way to add the TIDE pods with the Smart Dispense system. Other than that the washer is very nice, it is very quiet and I downloaded the Smart HQ app which lets give me a notification on my phone when the laundry is done which is very helpful, since I am not always nearby to hear the machine beep.
This is my first HE washer, and the features are wonderful. I love the auto sensor for the load size.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi,
Congratulations on your First HE washer! We're happy to know that you love the auto sensing and other features. Thanks for choosing GE appliances. All the best! Mike@GEA
If your load is not just perfect in the drum when it goes to the spin cycle it starts slapping the sides of the machine and shuts off. When you readjust your clothes it then fills the tube again with water to only do it again. Only had this thing 7 months and completely frustrated!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi,
Thanks for taking the time to write about your washer. We can understand how this out of balance issue would be frustrating to deal with, for sure. If you find that your washer is walking/vibrating, take a look at this article for some tips to try: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17445&_ga=2.64950575.1476842461.1645628366-454753276.1645628366
If these tips don't help, you're loading your unit as stated in your Use and Care manual (page 18): https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-3000187-2.pdf&_ga=2.124770698.1476842461.1645628366-454753276.1645628366 - and you're still having these out of balance issues, we'd recommend reaching out to our service team for further help. They can be found here: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm
All you have to do is put the clothes in and the rest does itself it even holds up 75 ounces of detergent and dispenses it on its own and let you know when it’s low
