Nice product but should be poly-sealed

I really like the product. Solid and very attractive. But putting it together I got brown wood stain all over my fingers. The wood had never been polyurethaned. I had to take the shelf apart, but product and polyurethane all of it, and then put it back together. I was worried that if I didn’t, it would get brown stain on any books or items I ever put on it.
I knew I was ordering a product that needed to be assembled. I did not expect to have to spend more money to make it finished.

Missing pieces

The bookshelf came missing the black metal pieces for the back of it. It was extremely difficult to put together as the holes were not drilled to fit the screws that were sent.

I was very pleased with my decision The bookcase is just as it looked on the picture I wish I could have kept two but I didn't have enough space

The head of the screw is weak . Is the only think the reset is good and good material
