[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my opinion of the Lenovo Thinkpad X395 with Touch screen and Ryzen 7, after a few weeks of use.
The Good: The Ryzen 7 3700U works great for my needs, it's powerful enough to play with data, dashboards and that sort of thing, and plenty of it for casual office work and browsing. I love the keyboard, the screen is clear and with just the right matte finish. I've used it with a couple of older games and they go great, thanks to Vega. To watch videos is great. The equipment is lightweight and the ideal size to carry anywhere. Fast charging really comes in handy.
The bad: The battery lasts much less than I expected, about 6 hours a day I would say, I have not managed to get more than that. I am a bit bothered by the hot air outlet on the right, I use a mouse all the time and sometimes it is uncomfortable because the warm air hits my hand. For the same reason, keys such as enter are always warm and you feel it. If the air outlet were rear, you would not notice much heat on the keyboard, in daily use. The sound has a low quality, the placement of the speakers below does not help.
All in all it is a good general duty machine and I am satisfied with it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is slower than my 5 year old dell latitude 7450. It is so sensitive that I am constantly moving items or closing items or moving to another site I do not want. I should have spent the extra money and purchased the dell. The Lenovo is a price of junk compared to the dell latitude.
