The Lenovo ThinkPad is an amazing tool for anyone who works with CAD programs. The Xeon processor provided as an option during customization is a must for anyone dealing with large files sizes, heavy hashing, high spline count, and thousands of points. I have opened and worked on files using this Xeon processor that had caused my old laptop to freeze and the fans to wind out of control. With the ThinkPad, there was no hesitation opening these files. I experienced no change in performance, no fan speed change, no random crashes, nothing negative at all. The Xeon processor and graphics card handled these tough files with no difficulty. I was able to work, edit, and zoom around the file as fast as I wanted with no issues and without the system experiencing a heavy load. I am beyond satisfied with the performance of this product. It has been the best machine I have used in my 13 years experience using computer design software. I highly recommend this product to all CAD users.
