[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] REALLY fast machine! I ordered mine with the Xeon processor and 64 gigs of ram. The touch display is fantastic! Somewhat modular and upgradeable, this laptop will last for years to come.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine is working awesome. Cooling system is good and the battery life is long as compared to other laptops.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered mine with a lot of power and it is fast! I’ve had it for about 2 weeks and I’m very satisfied with it. It’s not super thin and light but not too heavy. So far it’s a great laptop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first Lenovo, just love it it. Everything is of obvious high quality materials and engineering. Works perfect each time, and the colors and sharpness of the screen are just great. Did I mention I love it?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been Thinkpad user for more than a decade (work & personal) I've tried many other brands (work related) & always the same results: You can't beat the quality & performance of a thinkpad.
SHIPPING: because it was customized, they said 2-3 weeks, well, I got it in slightly less than 2,right before Memorial day, very impressive.
CONFIG:I purcahsed the P53 Full configuration (128RAM, 3x2TB SSD, SIM card etc, with all the whistles and bells) I know what you are thinking "spoiled brad" but , what can I say, I waited for so long to get it in a good deal & totally worth it. Im replacing my old Thinkpad from 2012.
PERFORMANCE: I tested with with 3D machining software (gibbsCam) AutoCAD and Premier Pro. With the first two, The fans briefly turned on, it was ridiculously fast. Even tough the 3D was slightly heavy, the system only went into 60% & RAM to 16-30GB in use.
Video Rendering was the real thing: 10 mins of HD video with very heavy load of visual effects, the proccesor reached the 100% just a few times, while the RAM in used was at 62-65GB at the busiest moment. Yes, the fans were on, but like any other Thinkpad (in my experience) the laptop was cool at the touch & the bottom was warm but never hot (yes, you fell the warm hot air from the vents but not the laptop surfaces.
WEIGHT: Maybe because my old Thinkpad (2012) is as think as the P53 & my old one is even more heavy than the P53, I didnt find it annoying or negative like other reviews, if you are getting a mobile workstation, dont spect to get a tablet, its D top of the line in mobile computers; I think of a mobile workstation, as the practicality to take any project with you for a presentation to a client or at work, where you dont have to bring anyone to your home so you can take it anywhere you go.
BONUS: I really REALLY like the tinny little switch on top the webcam that literally covers the lens (I think is a thin layer of plastic or metal) between the front glass & the lens. Super handy for privacy purposes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an IT professional and I order Lenovo ThinkPad P and T series all the time due to our currently IT policy. These laptop is very slick looking. professional grade design and functions. The down side of this and all or most Lenovo laptops are 1. if you customize the laptops, it'll take forever to get them (1+ month) since they build the laptops oversea. 2. This P53 works great with Microsoft Windows. However, when my software engineers install Linux on it, many things do not work. ex. 2nd and 3rd monitors, printers, wifi adapter, etc.
