[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a IT manager in NGO and I had purchased it for my colleague. He really excited with Lenovo product.
That was the first ThinkPad with coil whine I ran into. That is unacceptable. Returned it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The X390 is a replacement to a ThinkBook 14 I first ordered (then returned) and I'm glad I did the switch. This thing is far superior to the ThinkBook in every way. You won't be disappointed with this rig.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent performance clubbed with quality expected from a thinkpad..Finishing of the thinkpad body needs better evaluation, panel/ body easily gets scratches when I kept inside a leather laptop bag.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Impressed by the built in and dedicated privacy features like the integrated camera shutter and the dedicated mic mute key that lights up to confirm that the mic has indeed been muted. Find the construction quality high, solid and light - very much a Thinkpad. It feels good when you're carrying it around. The hinge is also nice - it has enough resistance and also opens to be truly 180 degrees. Matte screen had good color reproduction and was more than bright enough. Unfortunately the track pad feels plastic-y and leaves a lot to be desired but the keyboard is excellent. Overall I think this machine is an excellent value for the price. Only other out of the box problem was (no surprise) a day lost to hanging windows updates! But I'd consider buying another one the next time we're looking for a good field operations laptop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is much faster than my Yoga was. I love the touch screen option. The only disappointing thing was that Lenovo does not have a pen for it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed using my X390 so far! The size and weight were just what I was looking for, and it has enough power to do the tasks I need it to. I have been particularly impressed with the speakers which have much better sound quality than I was expecting from such a small/thin machine.
