[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop is very good. It fulfills my requirement. I has 16 gb of ram, and 512 gb ssd. The most important thing is the touchscreen, is smooth, I was worried about the ghost touch problem, but in this case lenovo's performance is outstanding. Another important thing is power consumption, i can work in this pc longer time. I don't used to like Lenevo but then i bought this ThinkPad X390 and it changed my point of view

Fast, great keyboard and touchpad, backlit keyboard that can be turned on and off. Still haven’t really tested the battery life, but it can be in sleep mode for several days without affecting battery. I might not ever go away from a ThinkPad.

I have been using Think Pads for two decades +. This is a good machine. I got a good deal on it because of the older i7 version. Plenty fast though. You may wish to get it with the backlit keyboard, about $100 more. Touch screen is a nice feature. Still sorting out everything, but so far so good.
