[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for something pretty equivalent to the X230 I'd been using for over 7 years, and the X390 seems to be it. (I only needed a new laptop since Windows had quit updates on Windows 7 in January 2020... I continued using that laptop until December 2020 - despite the risks - but knew it made more sense than putting Windows 10 on that old of a laptop.) I'm really appreciating how much thinner this model is than my old computer. The fingerprint reader is a welcome addition for quick log-in. The design of an in-computer cover for the camera is nice for those who don't fully trust integrated cameras.

Thunderbolt port allows plugging in eGPU for machine learning.
Narrower keyboard and missing Insert key takes a bit of getting used to coming from an X230.
I would recommend this to a friend!
