[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fast - Sure - Easy to Use. What more can one ask for ? Well - durability. Our son has "one" for about 40 months and it has been 110% problem free - including a few falls from the table to the floor.
The X-Series just keeps getting better and better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are two kinds of people: those who use X-Series ThinkPads and those who don't. Those who don't use them are missing out on one of portable computing's lovely pleasures.
The ThinkPad X390 is a really nice unit. Lightweight, built-in battery, long battery life, nice screen resolution, fast and absolutely solid construction as expected with a ThinkPad laptop. I have the 500GB PCIe disk w/16GB RAM and touch screen. I can't imagine a better overall laptop for travel or desk use; I use a pair of 24" monitors and a docking station - perfection.
My experience:
I've had IBM/Levono T-Series since 2000 with a T20, and several since then. I moved to an X-Series 5 years or so ago as I didn't need the larger T-series. For a few years I was clocking 100K miles up in the air. A few places I worked at had Dell and Toshiba, junky. The Dell actually had a boot sector failure the morning I was conducting a network reference architecture workshop at a major power utility. I had my personal T400 with me and my PPT backed-up on a USB stick; I was there for 5 days and it would have been a real embarrassing mess if not for the T400. I always keep my personal and business activities on separate machines so I always carried the two.
My 11 year old T400 is now used at home as a desk unit for my wife’s daily planner on a dock with a 24" monitor; it’s a tad heavy to haul around by today’s standards and the battery is shot. Works very fast with a 500GB SSD and 8GB RAM.
You get what you pay for. Like I said there are 2 kinds of people, and really trust ThinkPads.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love my new ThinkPad X390! I love that it is easy to move around and not too heavy compared to others i've had in the past. The touch screen comes very handy when wanting to zoom in or out on PDF's, picfures, etc.. i mainly bought this laptop fpr school purposes and i have no regrets. The only thing i would say is that i wish i would of gotten a bigger screen one, but then again it might of been too big. Either way this laptop deserves 5+ stars!!!
I got it two weeks ago and I am very satisfied with it so far. It works smoothly with great performance for such a small device. I am very happy with the ports it provide, especially combined with USB hub, which lets you connect multiple screens in an easy way. Additionally, the finger scanner is a very handy access tool.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is basically an X1 Carbon only smaller. It’s not as light but you really can’t tell the difference. Very thin and very powerful. Can’t beat the price either for an X series ThinkPad. Will be recommending it to the entire IT department.
