Less than full ice basket

It made a complete basket of ice the first time I used it but refuses to do so again. I get the basket full light after only 1 or 2 batches and I have to re-start it to try to fill the basket....and it's never been out of water

Left without Ice Maker

Stopped working on March 8th and with all the back and forth with emails all are now out of stock until possibly the end of March! What's the point of getting the warranty if you have you cannot get a replace.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the perfect size for the counter top in my classroom! My students love how quickly the machine makes ice, and we are all drinking more water!

We have been so happy with this NewAir portable Ice Maker! It is amazing how fast it makes ice, and keeps up with your daily needs. When the bucket is full, we sometimes add it to our broken ice maker in our freezer (which will still dispense), and stock up for days of heavier usage, like when we have company. As others have mentioned, the ice is "wetter" than you would expect, so if you store it in the freezer, be sure to stir it up first, to keep it from sticking into a ball. Also, the holding bin is not temperature controlled, so do not expect your ice to sit in the machine for hours without melting. If it does melt, the ice machine will kick back on and continue to make more ice. The machine itself is small and sleek enough to sit on a counter, but be sure to allow space around it for ventilation, and also at the top in order to open it for extracting the ice and re-filling the chamber. It is very easy to operate and clean, with a simple plug for drainage. Another great feature is the excellent customer service! After months of enjoying an unlimited supply of ice, our machine developed an issue with the delivery tray. I contacted customer service and they promptly responded to my inquiry, and a replacement is on its way. NewAir stands by its warranty with no hassles!!! I would order from NewAir again in the future.

After purchasing a well known brand refrigerator in 2019 not one but three ice makers went up! After the third the repair department told me she never buys a refrigerator with an ice maker as that is the most replaced item. So the warranty people bought off our remaining 3 years and we purchased the newer ice maker and never looked back. It is attractive, and supplies all the ice we need. If you need help from customer support they offer live chat and are so easy to work with.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I would buy this unit again, my granddaughter loves ice and this is the perfect size for her. It is so easy to use and makes plenty of extra ice when we have company. I highly recommend this product!! It makes the ice fast so if you have to make some quickly it only takes a few minutes. I will keep a counter top ice maker from now on!!

I received my Newair Portable Ice Maker as a gift from my son and what a wonderful gift it has been. My wife and I have a large family and entertain frequently, this has been a Godsend. Extremely easy to use and maintain. It's also very attractive on our bar, very quite and makes ice in five to seven minutes. First time "Newair" customer and would highly recommend it to everyone.
