I bought this unit in Aug 2020. And it works wonderfully. Very fast ice. I can fill my large ice tray in my freezer in 2 hours. Love it. I plan I buying units for my kids for X-mas.

My previous model had a capacity of 28 pounds, my new unit is 33 pounds. I guess I should not assume and need to ask questions. Even though the new units makes more ice, I have to keep filling it up with water more frequently, not because I am using more ice, rather the water storage is much less and the storage to hold the ice is less. Also, the ice lift unit broke after the second day, NewAir quickly sent me a new piece. Still waiting for the piece to arrive, not a problem. The unit is beautiful and makes great ice. One other item of note, the ice seems to melt much quicker than the previous machine, maybe I just need a larger unit?

This ice machine is amazing!

This ice machine is not an eye sore it’s very sleek looking! It makes ice quickly and it’s a perfect size! There are small ice cubes and large ice cubes both being great sizes! What I love most is when it is full it tells you, also tells you when you need more water!
But now, the actual BEST feature of this ice machine is when it is full and you take a scoop it starts making new ice automatically!!
You can’t go wrong in price or quality of this ice machine! I highly recommend it to anyone who uses a ton of ice like my family does and is sick of filling ice trays all the time

I had gotten this machine about a month ago and it started making a loud sound and when I called customer service they were quick to help and when the parts weren't available they were able to help and send me a new machine!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was excited when this arrived. I plugged it in last night, turned it on, filled it with water, and it has never dropped ice. It's now been 24 hours and still no ice. I even drained it and refilled it with cold water. Still nothing. I was hoping for a better experience.

I have had my machine for about 3 weeks now and I am so thrilled! Initially I thought it may be too big for my small counter, but I was so happy to be able to make it work with the small space that I have. I keep it right next to my Nespresso so that iced lattes and coffees are super easy. We drink so much iced water in our house too that it seemed we were never able to keep enough ice in the freezer. Having this machine around has eliminated the dreaded running out of ice dilemma. The setup from out of box to use was very quick and extremely easy. Basically take it out, remove all packaging stuff like tape, etc, clean everything with a mild soap, add water to internal reservoir and plug in. The first time it runs it takes longer than I initially expected to produce a lot of ice, but within about a half hour the bucket was full. Now it's constantly on and plugged in, and it makes ice all day long. Some of the ice melts if you don't use it and as that happens it'll start making more when it detects the bucket is getting low. I only need to add water every few days, if that. It is very much a set it and forget it device besides the expected water refill. Besides all the awesome technical things, it's also very attractive and honestly the stainless steel does not pick up as many fingerprints as you would think and it's super easy to clean. It looks great on my countertop and very high end with the cool tap buttons. I highly recommend this ice maker, you'll really enjoy it!
