I bought this portable ice maker cause the ice maker in our high end refrigerator freezes up after a couple of weeks and needs to be unthawed and requires a lot of maintenance.
I have used this ice maker for two days now and have made 20 lbs. of ice. This ice maker produces ice as described. The only issue I have is when the ice is made it is not completely frozen it is in a soft state. You need to place a full basket of ice into a freezer bag and place in your freezer to become solid otherwise it will melt quickly. As of this writing I am satisfied with this ice maker and would recommend it.

New Air counter ice maker makes plenty of ice very quickly, a must have for get together, barbecues holidays or to just have fresh ice on hand for drinks It pretty inexpensive, and saves time from running to the store to buy a bag of ice I really glad I purchased my new air counter top ice maker & I recommend you buy one for yourself

This ice machine is not an eye sore it's very sleek looking! It makes ice quickly and it's a perfect size! There are small ice cubes and large ice cubes both being great sizes! What I love most is when it is full it tells you, also tells you when you need more water! But now, the actual BEST feature of this ice machine is when it is full and you take a scoop it starts making new ice automatically!! You can't go wrong in price or quality of this ice machine! I highly recommend it to anyone who uses a ton of ice like my family does and is sick of filling ice trays all the time

The Newair Portable ice maker has been an invaluable addition to our kitchen appliances especially during the warm weather months. We no longer had the need to supplement our ice supply by running out to buy bags of ice when the ice maker on our refrigerator couldn't keep up.
