Unfortunately my ice machine never worked. It kept going to add water after it made a few ice cubes.

This is a great ice maker! I read reviews for the best portable ice makers, and Newair stood out. I use it in my camper. Makes ice quickly. Glad I made the purchase!

Spent over $200 for this. Does not work out of box. Tray will not fill with water. Pump makes noise but nothing happens. Add Water light comes on even though reservoir is full. Bad product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So easy to use!

We’ve been enjoying our ice machine for two weeks now and what a difference it has made! We set it up on our bar counter in the dining room, it’s been enjoyed by our children and guests. Ice is quick and the water lasts quite a while! It’s easy enough for our 10 year old to refill. What a great unit!

I have had this ice maker for almost a year. One of the parts broke and customer service will be sending me a new part with instructions on how to fix it since it is still under warranty. Up to this point it has worked pretty well except it does not refrigerate the inside of the unit so if you do not watch for the ice to fill up it will begin to melt. This can be slowed down by using ice cold water from the fridge. Another complaint I have about it not being refrigerated on the inside is that if you let it set for more than a day without use it grows a mildewy smell since there is always a small amount of water at the bottom of the unit unless you pick it up and dump it out. With the unit weighing 33 lb this becomes cumbersome. A buzzer that lets you know when it is full would also be useful.

Unit continues to shut off. The same issue was experienced by a friend.

This ice maker is amazing! It makes two different size ice cubes, the shape makes them easy to fit into our stainless steel water bottles. My family has had this ice maker for nearly a year now. It makes ice quickly, quietly and it looks nice sitting on the counter. We had an issue with the unit, contacted customer service, and they responded quickly and fixed the issue. With an outstanding ice maker and outstanding customer service you can't go wrong. If you're on he fence about purchasing this ice maker, go for it!

Just got this and it's going to be perfect for my summer soirees! The machine is compact and very quiet. We hooked it up to our water supply easily and it was so easy to install. I also have a lot of food in the freezer so keeping my ice tasting fresh is important. I highly recommend it if you're looking to keep your ice away from all the smells in your fridge!
