Totally disappointed this product was advertised with the keyboard mouse and pen in several pictures but are not included. Totally misleading and disappointing

Livening the unit.

Nice and bright, fairly quick, used for online accounting. Also, runs halo and mine craft. The stylus worked great but the tip failed within the first week. I bought the keyboard and a mouse so it’s effectively a laptop at this point. I also stuffed in a miniature memory card too. All in all, quite happy with it except for the stylus.

Don't waste your money

Easily the worst product I have ever purchased. Can't run any program properly without the system crashing. Can't even open word documents properly. Don't waste your money on this.

Surface Pro 4 User - Last Microsoft Purchase Ever

I bought a Microsoft Surface 4 Pro for my wife at the end of 2016. Not quite 4 years later, the battery won't hold a charge for more than an hour. I called Microsoft to get a new battery and the response was to pay $600 to get a refurbished Surface 5 - presumably with a new battery.
Call me old fashioned, but when I get a laptop I assume that a battery is replaceable: I've been able to buy battery replacements for just about every brand on the market. My Lenovo workstation laptop (about the same money but about twice as old - 2012), still has the same battery and still working pretty well. Fact is, I can easily get replacements from Lenovo and a number of 3rd parties.
For those thinking a surface is a good technology investment, I would consider the longer term costs. All those 3rd party reviews saying the surface was the best value versus technology, do not take into account all the on-going on costs and or peripherals that are priced at a serious premium. The TCO was not even close to my much older workstation and it certainly does not perform as well either.
< 4 years later, I'm looking for a new laptop; it will certainly not be a surface; or any other MS product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My employer provided this computer and it overheats. There is no fan and that’s a problem.

It’s disappointing that most of the product photos show the keyboard but it is not included with the unit in the box.
