been 4 yrs since last bought a new laptop. Mine was getting slow and with the use of both school and gaming I needed to upgrade. Wanted a bigger screen and with the next expac of WoW knew my current laptop would not handle it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This laptop is the finest I have ever touched. The metal chassis (I think it's magnesium). The display is 300 Hz, which looks unreal, and at 17.3 the FULL-HD resolution is great. I plugged this in to my PG27UQ and it can run 4K titles at low, medium settings. The RGB is beautiful, it really is an eyecandy, but I wish the back logo on the lid was also RGB. The sound system too is very good. Keyboard and trackpad placement is odd, but my hands are not really big so I have worked around it just fine, though I do recommend using a mouse with this product. The cooling system is what justifies the layout in the laptop, because it can efficiently cool the RTX 2080 max-q and Intel Core i7 9750H built in this unit without sizzling your hand like steak. I would like to add that the software is buggy because it fails to display the stats on my CPU. Also, I wish the laptop could have an alternative exhaust when closed, because I sometimes plug it in my monitor to play. Finally, since the laptop is so high-end, I don't understand why they would opt in removing Thunderbolt 3.0, considering this can do so much more than gaming.
