I bought this product about a month ago. I love it. It complete the look and adds a great finished look to the hood. Would recommended for anyone. Installation was easy and only took a few minutes.

I bought this to replace a different brand that needed a new motor every 3 years or so, so I'm hoping the motor on this one lives up to the lifetime warrantee. The way the chimney mounts to the ceiling bracket and hood top made it much more difficult to install in my older footing-and-beam house (walls and ceiling nowhere near perfectly level) than the old one, where the top chimney part could swing out from the bracket, and the bottom of the chimney tucked into a flange on top of the hood, rather than having to be screwed to the outside. If the motor does ever require replacement, it will be a nightmare to have to take down and reinstall. I like the fact that the lights are mounted in front and face back (no lights shining in my eyes while I use the stove) and the quiet motor, although the motor doesn't seem to have as much power (in terms of of overcoming static pressure in the flue, not CF per minute).

I decided to get this after needing the "short kit" for my fan and seeing the cabinets finally installed. They have crown molding at the ceiling so it would look weird if the vent didn't have one. This looks great and was really easy to install!
