Brackets supplied for install were not long enough for my application so these had to be fabricated at an additional cost. Installation instructions are very limited and does not go into recirculating versus venting to outside options for installation. These you have to figure out on your own.

Motor sound was louder then expected. It always seems like the motor isn't suctioned the way it supposed too. Doesnt suction everything and push out from the duct. Most of the heat, steam 9r smoke stays around the vent instead of going in. I purchased a high cfm so nothing stays behind.

Unit looks great and vents nicely. Unit hanging brackets were too long and had to cut and drill new holes to make work. Brackets were probably designed for a 10 ft. ceiling so I may just have ordered the wrong one. No big deal. Problem was the lights didn't work. Customer service was very good and sent me a new light package which arrived a few days later. Hate like heck that I have to pull the unit down to replace as I vented unit to the outside. Not going to be easy. But it vents very well and my wife cooked pork chop the afternoon I installed it and the neibors knew what we were having for dinner.

I have very mixed feelings about this product. Instalation, assembly instructions, and product design I give it 1-2 stars. Asthetically I would give it 3 stars. It's OK but there are some very shoddy things about it's appearance. Functionality is 5 stars, it is a fantastic vent hood.
