Excellent product! & Worth the price

We bought this 2 months ago and we couldn't be happier. I looks so nice in the house and i get a lot of compliments for it. I like how Z-line has excellent customer service. I just called them about a missing part and i received it in 2 days.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the look of this island hood. However, you cannot carry on a conversation when the fan is running. Even the lowest setting is extremely loud.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful design

We bought this in August of '21 and love it. It's a sleek design and the fan works great. If I would change anything, I would have four lights instead of two to distribute the light better. My husband bumps into the glass sometimes because he's 6'1" and we didn't have a tall enough ceiling.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Incredible customer service!!!

I purchased a z-line island range hood and somehow the baffle filter was bent. I contacted customer service asking how I could purchase a new replacement baffle when I was informed that there is a 3-year parts warranty and they would be sending a new baffle out to me for free under warranty. I was floored. I have never experienced such incredible customer service in my life. I've contacted several other companies over the years for other issues with other products and I've never been treated so nicely and efficiently as z line. I will purchase more z-line products in the future and highly recommend other people to purchase z-line products based on their customer service alone. What an incredible company! Apart from that I love the range hood. It was very fairly priced and the options it has are very good and it looks beautiful!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Replacing light bulbs

I bought the Zline GL14i-36 range hood in April 2019. People that came to see our new kitchen often remarked that they loved that range hood, we do too. But the time came to replace the lights and I read the owner's manual, saw a youtube video and hoped I could do it. I had a hard time removing the mounting from the light bulb. I contacted customer service and they were so very helpful and responsive. You will need some information to provide them such as serial number, model number, purchase order receipt but then they can provide you with the help you need. I opted to buy the Zline LED lights because I had hoped I wouldn't have to change the lights in my life time (I'm over 70). Zline is sending my a light kit and a video link so I can replace them at no charge. WOW, they really didn't have to do that. The light bulbs are not covered under any warranty but that was such a wonderful response. Thank You Zline.

We have had this fan for ~4 years now. It is rare to have an issue, but when something comes up ZLINE has been absolutely the best company to deal with! Their customer service is unsurpassed and the tech advice was right on!

Zline does not stand behind their defective products. Buyers beware.

I purchased this Zline range hood and after a few months, the display had a light out and the lights stopped working. I reached out to Zline and they sent me replacement parts along with videos to do the replacement. I replaced both parts. The panel worked but the lights still didn't work. Zline then sent me a new circuit board with a video. Based on the video, I knew it was too complicated for me to do on my own. I told Zline I could not do this on my own, I was not a technician. I was told that they don't cover anything but replacement parts. So I paid a tech to come out to do the replacement, they sent the wrong circuit board for my hood! I still had to pay the company that came out for their time! I contacted Zline again, they sent yet another replacement part, took me months to get the same tech back out. He installs it, now I have blinking lights. So my range hood lights are useless. I spent hundreds of dollars for techs to come out and I still have a hood that doesn't fully work. Zline's only response was that they would send out all new replacement parts again! At this point, it is cheaper for me to buy a new hood. My disappointment and frustration with this company has spurred me to submit this review so that future consumers can be aware. If you have a problem with your product, you will get a replacement part and installation video from Zline and no further help if the replacement parts don't fix the problem. If the replacement parts don't work, then Zline should stand behind their defective product and replace it, but they don't. So buyers beware.
