I am extremely happy with my ZLINE Remote Blower Island Range Hood (GL2i-R), the installation was simple with the exception of having to cut down the mounting brackets so that it was at the right height for my 8' ceiling and not blocking the line of sight. This hood looks amazing, is quiet enough to have conversations on its highest setting, and clears the smoke of a well seared steak with no problem! The only reason for the 4 stars is that it was not a great design for installation at an 8' ceiling.

The unit replaced a Sirrius island hood. Installation went well with a little help lifting everything in place. The fan is so noisy that the chief cannot hear conversation and the vibration is annoying. All else is great, do wish it had remote control for shorter cooks.

This is precisely what my wife and I wanted for our kitchen. It has a touch of both sophistication and classic style, which we love because it matches any kitchen style. We were so excited when they told us it was arriving. I had to cancel a meeting just for that, and the installation went well. Great product indeed.
