Purchased on a Monday while away on business. By the time I got home on Thursday evening, it had already arrived home! The first thing that I did that evening was to open the box of course!
I installed it the next day!! Soo happy to have purchased this hood!

Great hood, but.....

The hood looks great and works well, but the push buttons are very hard to use. I'm having to press the on button multiple times and the fan speeds multiple times for it to work, very frustrating.

can be built better

i like the way it works all in all but there is a big BUT
i feel that no range hood should have no type of plastic moving parts that old the exhaust fan together,
there is a plastic nut with a small metal thread that melted of because of the heat, that keeps the fan secured, luckily i was able to retrofit a metal nut to keep the fan moving
and i also feel there should be some type of warning about what type of exposure or how much heat the hood can handle

We purchased this 42 inch hood to go above a 40 inch gas range. We did our install as part of kitchen remodel. Retired couple and we installed ourselves. very pleased.

Had mine installed about 2 months now. It looks amazing which was one of the reasons I bought. It also does a fie job at removing smoke and heat away from the kitchen. The reason I can't give it five stars is because the fan is a bit loud in my opinion. The light on the hood exceeded my expectations. it's not bright, but it's usable. Installation was simple I initially thought it would have been complicated. Almost anyone can install one of these. It's a classy functional hood.
