I bought this range hood to go above my range in place of a prior microwave. This ZLINE hood looks GREAT. I really like the style and especially the recirculating feature which allowed me to install the hood without the need to externally vent. The hood itself was great quality. My only negative feedback is regarding the installation process which wasn't exactly clear. The hood came with a very nice instruction booklet - but the booklet didn't address my specific type of range hood and left several steps vague. If I hadn't been handy, it would have been very difficult for me to install this product. But in the end, I managed the install in about 4-5 hours time and the end result looks great!

Bought this to replace a fancy Italian - made outfit that the motor went out. Can't get new parts because the company's out of business. This fan is every bit as good -- probably stronger and quieter and just as sturdy. Easy installation. Lifetime guarantee a real selling point. Don't like the location of the lights or controls, but the fantastic price makes up for that.

Our hood was purchased nearly a month prior to installation, due to delays in the kitchen update. Once opened,the hood extension was not included. We called Customer Satisfaction who acknowledged the issue, didn't question the delay in opening the package, and 4 days later we had the hood extension.
