New Amana Dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this Dryer when our 20+ year old, not an Amana, one quit heating. We had purchased an Amana Washing Machine approximately one year earlier. It is the same model as our new Dryer. We have been very pleased with the performance of both.

Worth the money

I have this set washing machine and dryer. Both have functioned as I should except for the lint filter on the dryer. It does gather lent exactly as it's supposed to but it does not fit flush and it will grab garments twist them and tears holes from time to time. I have tried changing load size doesn't make a difference it's like the lint filter is Warped or something. Other than that dryer functions great would be a five star other than that.

Just what I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer two months ago and it’s working wonderfully. I have had a previous version of this dryer I before, which got sold with the house. Since it worked so well, I decided to get another when this house’s dryer became unrepairable. What I wanted was a front loading dryer that is simple, reliable, energy star, affordable, and easy to repair. I was also looking for a model that was reasonably priced. This model does have simple operation. We usually just leave it on “regular” or “bulky items”. Drying time is about 45 minutes for us, and is quieter than the dryer it replaced. Hoping it continues to be as reliable as the last one was!

Great Dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just wanted something simple that I could count on to dry my clothes. Doesn't seem like a hard ask but my 4 Samsung dryers of the past were not up for the task....Amana dries them and I have had no complaints.

Attractive and effective product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer was a replacement via a home warranty claim. My other dryer was a Samsung product. We have not had an Amana product before and were unsure of how the product would work. We’re very happy and glad that we got this product. The dryer works great and is very attractive in looks. It is also large enough for our needs.

So quiet but so powerful

Horrible

I have bought this a few years ago, it feels like every 6 months I’m replacing a thermostat, thermal fuse or heating element, I’d suggest avoiding this brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
