Getting the French doors was so worth it to me. Makes it so much easier to get pans in and out of the oven. Love that the racks smoothly slide in and out. Easy to use touch screen. Beautiful oven!

Looks and cooks great, smart features don't work

We love the French door on the top oven, the racks nice ball bearing pull-outs, and it looks great in our kitchen. However, if you are purchasing this oven expecting a simple connection to your smart home, it doesn't work. While I followed the instructions and selected it as a double oven in the SmartHQ app, after setup it only thinks it is a single oven. I can only turn on the top oven from the app, and afterward I can not see the temperature or turn it off from the app, and it won't connect to my smart home, all of which it is supposed to do. I am a network engineer and I know how to set things up to make them work, but the smart features on this oven just don't.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the quality and the features

We bought this oven a few months ago, and even though we had to wait a while until it could be delivered and installed, it was worth it. My wife loves the convenience of the french doors and roll-out racks as we no longer have to lean over a drop down top oven door. The cooking options are great, and the integration with our existing smart house technology was quick and easy. My one complaint is that it takes longer to pre-heat than our previous oven. Other than that, this was a great upgrade.

We purchased this double wall oven because we liked the french door feature. only problem was the upper, French door oven had to be calibrated for correct oven heat. had to raise the temperature 15 degrees in Settings for accurate heat.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I ordered my cafe appliances 8 months ago! My kitchen is finished and I have no appliances. That’s ridiculous, I have read multiple blogs and it seems the GE Cafe series is notorious for this. Buyer beware!

Most beautiful oven in any kitchen

I am absolutely thrilled with this oven! It is truly the focal point of my newly remodeled great room. And it doesn't just look good, it performs amazingly. Suddenly, I can't think of enough things to bake!!! Even just opening the doors is exciting!
