Glitchy

Oven is beautiful but software is super glitchy. About once every 2 weeks, either the top or bottom oven just loses features in the menu. This primarily happens with the “precision cooking” feature. The option will just disappear from one oven or the other. I have to reset the oven by turning power off at the circuit breaker and then the feature will be back. This is getting really old. If it’s going to be this glitchy then there needs to be an easier way to reset the oven. I have tried to contact support but they send an auto reply asking for literally a thousand different irrelevant details before proceeding. It really doesn’t matter what phone I’m using or what app version I have or blah blah blah. I just want to know why the oven is so random with what features it chooses to offer on any given day.

Beautiful Ovens

My Jenn Air Pro double oven took a hit from a near by lightning bolt and died. After reading reviews I decided in the GE Cafe CTD09FP2M1S1. These oven are beautiful! They totally compliment my SubZero and Wolf appliances. Although I am not short, the French door upper oven makes it easier to remove pans due to the location of my kitchen island. The baking temp seems spot on and the control are easy enough for my husband to operate. The lighting for ovens is wonderful with 3 lights per oven. My only complaint is that the racks seem a little difficult to slide. For somewhat high in ovens, stainless steel and tool out racks would rate the 5th star.

We bought this in conjunction with an entire suite of Cafe matte white appliances for our home. The look is awesome. Nice controls and easy to operate.

Very happy with this double oven. The multiple oven settings are great and the temperatures are very accurate. The french doors give excellent access and means no reaching over a hot oven door to reach food. WiFi connection is useful. I would definitely recommend this oven to anyone who enjoys cooking.

I like this oven a lot which is short of love

I gave this oven 4 stars. My review is biased. My last home oven was still is a high end induction range not a wall oven. It seems to hold its heat a little closer. Mind you three of us are chefs to some degree. This oven has a 30 degree temp range difference between the top shelf and bottom shelf when loaded this is not the case with my old oven and a huge factor when we are baking breads and our specialty pizzas. Its functional but this is not a cheap oven. If I did not know there are ovens that can maintain within 5 degrees fully loaded top to bottom shelf I probably would love this oven. I do like being able to fire it up from my phone or tablet and its telling me when my timers up or its preheated so its techno features are great. As far are normal cooking I think anyone will really like or love every bit of this oven. I just cant give it a 5 star rating because I have stepped down in the number one thing on my oven functions which is maintaining a constant temp in every square inch of the oven.

Even cooking!!

I’ve had this oven in my kitchen for a month now. My favorite part is the French door!! I love not having to reach over a hot door to take the food out. And the sliding racks! OMG! They move so smoothly! Nothing gets spilled on the door or bottom of the oven anymore! My old oven didn’t cook evenly or heat properly. When I opened the door, it would lose so much heat. Not this oven! I always keep a thermometer in it so I know it maintains it’s temperature better. Also loving the WiFi connection to my phone. Now I know when preheating is complete. I love, love, love this oven!!

Love This Oven!

The convenience of the french doors is incredible. I can now open the oven and place or take out food with one single move. No longer have to set the food down, open the door, lift it in and close the door. The ability to turn the oven on and off via wifi saves so much time.
