I got this laptop to replace my 3 year old ASUS ultrabook. This newer laptop is actually a bit thicker than my older laptop.
I like the ability to fully open the case 180deg.

Startup is a little slower but not bad.
Battery life is very poor. If i leave it closed but unplugged overnight the battery will be drained by the next day despite my putting the settings to power save. I still need to work that out. My older Asus lasts much longer.

i liked the Lenovo data transfer tool. very useful. the program worked well.
Keyboard is good. feels solid and comfortable. Enter button is small which takes getting used to.
my only other peeve is the plug. i bought this laptop for portability. the charger is large and cumbersome. it weighs almost as much as my laptop. it would be nice to have a smaller charger to improve portability.
screen and display are good. i like how you can shut off the camera.
generally a solid laptop.
