I bought this laptop about 2 years ago for university and about 2 months into using it I noticed incredibly slow refresh and response times when surfing the internet, and that's only with 50mb of files downloaded. Chrome was so slow to operate with that you're forced to use Edge, and even that wasn't so great. Don't even get me started with YouTube videos.
However, it doesn't take long at all to startup from shut down or standby which I really liked. It's small size makes it really easy to get around, with incredible battery life when used efficiently. If you're planning on using it for schooling on a budget, you'll get by if you don't mind waiting.
