I bought a FHD screen T480s. It's light, has great expandability for its weight. I'm very satisfied overall.
What keeps it from being perfect is the washed out screen. The display is both poor in brightness and contrast ratio. Other manufacturers have produced beautiful matte screens and to have such a low quality display panel in this price range is kind of ridiculous.
I customized a T480s with 8650U/16G. The delivery was on time. Though it is not my first Lenovo T series, I was really impressed by the design and weight of T480s. Having two usb-c, full HDMI, SD slot, Ethernet port on a such slim and light laptop seems amazing. I am linux user, so installed ubuntu right away and it really was not surprising having issue with fingerprint/IR camera drivers for linux (not a big deal). The second disappointing drawback is that there is no DEFAULT BACKLIGHT KEYBOARD on over $2000 laptop and you should pay +$35 for that. unfortunately, I didn't notice that in purchase time and did not pick the backlight keyboard. The thing is such a commonplace feature that is built-in on almost all +$1000 laptops these days, should not be an option on a laptop in this price. So now I have a high-end laptop with no backlight keyboard. So disappointing!!! I am a computer engineer and normally watch tons of training videos every day. on the first try, I noticed the sound was really low and hard to hear. I supposed that was related to sound settings but wrong. The SPEAKERS ARE AWFUL. I need to use headphone all the time. it's really bothering. On the performance side, it responds as expected with such hardware underhood.

Great quality materials, assembly, and form factor. Sturdy yet very light. Zero performance issues since purchase (2 months). Quick, snappy processing (mainly used for office productivity and web browsing. No heavy tasks like gaming or video editing). Buttery keyboard. Battery life is excellent.
Cons: Screen color richness could be improved. Expensive - try to get it on sale.
Another solid Thibkpad (this is my second) but lighter and thinner. The only problem I have with it is there is still this mysterious inability for it to connect to the internet via certain wifi spots. I had the same problem with my last Thibkpad which is a bit frustrating as I bought a new one thinking the upgrade would solve that problem. I’ve read a bunch of posts online to fix it and it usually involves running things from the command prompt. My phone and iPad connect just fine to these wifi spots so not sure why my Thibkpad doesn’t.
I really love this device. Thin, light, decent screen. I work mostly indoors so I usually don't have the screen brighter than 50 to 75 percent. The keyboard is stiffer than my 2nd gen Thinkpad yoga, but I got used to is quickly and love the keyboard. My only complaint is I wish it came with a keyboard backlight. Otherwise, I'd give it 5 stars.
