Perfect solution for the outdoorsman

I love this solar panel. Rugged and Tough panel that works great attached to a backpack or sitting on any surface. I love the fold out stand and how the Flip Battery Pack snaps onto the back. I use this on my backpack when hiking for maintaining my phone and camera batteries. Another great product from Goal Zero. See my video review on the BarnYard Outdoors YouTube Channel

It broke before I could use it. The battery does not connect securely to the panel and the usb connector broke while attached to my backpack. It may work great who knows? But until they fix this design flaw you will have to secure the parts somehow to avoid damage, or don’t attach to pack.

The panel does exactly what is described!
The only modification I did before my 35 mile hike was add a square of strong velcro to the bottom of the charge pack so that it is more securely attached to the back of the panel. I was afraid that it would fall off as the only connection is the electrical interface plug.

Works well but breaks easily

This was a gift and I only used it a few times before it stopped charging. Now it’s useless and so is the battery. Certainly not a way to protect our environment by making products that don’t last.
