Loss of Volume

When I use the Rockstar Audio + Charge for my Google Pixel 2 in my Ute I lose about 70% Volume on my Audio Sounds. Not really happy with product F7U080. Disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have you tried to use a different headphones for isolation? Try also to use the adapter with a different compatible device and observe if the same thing happens. Not compatible with Apple earbuds due to mic

3.5mm headphone jack only works for 3 band headphones jack Audio only (ground,left,right) Apple iPhone earbuds have 3.5mm jack with 4 bands (ground,left,right,mic) will not work with this.

Would not recommend

Bought on 7/23/2020 for an 12.9 iPad Pro 2020 to play.music thru a set of Apple ear buds. Music would not play unless charging cable was also connected. Not sure if this is to function this way as this happened on 2 separated iPad Pro 2020 units. If this is normal than this should have been stated in the poorly written documentation. Charging of iPad worked as expected, but charging was not the reason for purchase. Returning unit as defective.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

works for what i need it for

i was skeptical about buying this because of the previous reviews. i took a chance and bought it anyway for my note 10+. I haven't used it a lot but it does work properly unlike the previous reviews stated not sure whats different.
Only thing i found is i use a fast charger and when plugged into this, it charges at normal instead of a fast charge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works but seriously limits volume

Compared to my last similar adapter, this one seriously limits audio output. Even at full volume on my phone and stereo, noise level was still underwhelming. Will be returning this soon.

Excellent sound, huge problem with design

The sound is excellent, but the design is SUPER flawed. The cable is very stiff, which would be ok for other applications, but it's inevitably gonna be bent for an audio cable, which it cannot withstand on the long term. The cable regularly breaks down. Aside from that, the design is generally just super unergonomic, with the stiff cable it protrudes a further 5-10cm from the phone, making the whole unwieldy, and the hard edges of the adapter part get stock while taking it in/out of the pocket -- and this should be an audio cable !!

Sorry, but your Rockstar is doesn’t work. Attention potential buyers. Do not waste your time money on this. The only thing worse than your device is your technical support.

I was hoping this would charge and play music on my new note since my car dosent have bluetooth. It only does one at a time. For example, if it's plugged in and i hit play on my music it stops charging.
