Bought as a Christmas gift for my son in law mainly because my husband always complained they never have any sharp knives.to this day both men are happy happy happy. Such beautiful design and sooooooo sharp!!!!!!! Highly recommend

I bought these knives for my gf who had some pretty dull set that could not cut a loaf a bread. They were neatly packaged and upon taking them out they were beautiful! aside from the looks, it very sharp so be careful. She accidentally cut her finger but wasn't too serious.

These are really good knives, easy to handle, excellent steel. They are beautiful and the holder is sleek and elegant. However I have two minor issues: 1) the joining of the metal and the ash at the end of the handle is not smooth, you don’t feel it when you are cutting but when you run your fingers along the seam there is a definite unfinished ridge. In my mind that joking doesn’t match the attention to detail of the rest of the knife. 2)The bread knife goes through the crumb of the bread wonderfully never compressing the crumb. However my husband bakes bread with thick crusts and it requires some sawing and patience to get through it to the crumb.
I would recommend this to a friend!
