Stopped freezing top half, hard to open the door

This was my dream freezer and I happily waited 6 months for it to arrive. It was a good brand name with lots of interior space and a little footprint for my kitchen. However after maybe 6 weeks the freezer had a knocking grinding sort of noise and everything thawed out the top half. The light was flashing and the alarm was going off. It did not keep everything frozen for two days as it claimed in the event of a power outage. Ice creams turned to liquid froth, ice cream bars and popsicles melted to puddles inside the wrappers, frozen pizzas were floppy, frozen veggies turned spongy, frozen meats all had to all be cooked immediately and so on and so on. And then there’s the door. It is so difficult to open. I worry about injury trying to open this thing you need a crowbar lol. You either have to pull the door with much force (I’ve bent my nails backwards trying to open this more than once) or use a combination of one had holding the freezer, one hand holding the door and one foot to keep the freezer in place. Maybe it’s supposed to be bolted to the wall like a safety for a dresser I don’t know. For a new product this breakdown should’ve happened. Some reviews are great but I was the odd one who got a lemon and was left disappointed with lots of food wasted. I waited for a repairman to come and fix it and he said there was a lot of ice built up by the fan so it couldn’t spin and circulate the cold. I had to unplug it overnight and wait for it to thaw and be put back together. It works for now but oh boy what a headache and wasted money on all that spoiled food.

Lots of room but poor cooling design

The evaporator motor keeps getting Jammed by Ice build-up, causing the the top half of the freezer's contents to thaw. I constantly ( once a week) have to pull off the access-cover to free-up the fan-blade Compressor noisy at times also
I hope someone can help me figure out a solution to this problem since I'm not the only one!!

Broken twice in 3 months

We bought this freezer at the end of December, 2020. About a month and a half later it broke, we had a repair company come and fix it. Now, it’s broken again. The repair company said an ice block was stopping air flow to the top of the freezer, possibly a design flaw?! Regardless, we’ve had to throw out a lot of food from it all thawing on us TWO times in the last 3 months. Very disappointing.

Horrible buy

We bought this freezer 5 months ago. After having it for a month we were told that the door needed to be replaced ( which we still have not received) and now it has stopped working. Do not waste your money on this freezer

My fault for not doing better due diligence

The freezer works for a few days, then the green light starts flashing, and the temp goes up to basic refrigeration temp. Several service calls -- consensus is that the unit is fatally flawed and will always fail after a few days. Works great after a day unplugged -- for another few days.
