No freezer light!

Has door shelf deep and tall enough for tall bottles. Nice sliding tray for deli compartment. Needs freezer holder for ice cubes. No freezer light. Didn't come with a manual.

Disappointed

GE is my "go to" manufacturer for large appliances. I upgraded my 20 year old frig (which still worked) for this energy efficient one. Disappointed. Not only is it noisy and runs more frequently than my older model, but it tends to trip the dedicated circuit breaker. The inside layout is not very very flexible. Not many companies make small refrigerators so I do not have many choices. Hoped for another 20-year no-problem appliance. Simply disappointed.

This refrigerator which is a “high efficiency” is exceptionally noisy as it has a much smaller compressor and cycles more often.
I did not have the advantage of hearing it actually operate prior to purchasing it as it was not own and could not be plugged in.

I had to buy this model sight unseen. My local store only has a few appliances on display. When I looked online, this model was showing a third shelf at the bottom of the door. This model was about $170 more than the smaller 15 cu ft model. To me the extra storage in the door was important. I went ahead and ordered this one. It was on backorder and I had to wait over a month for it to come in. I don't think 1 cu ft would make much difference and had I known this model, when it finally arrived, would not have the third shelf on the door I would have saved myself a lot of money by buying the slightly smaller model that was on sale, and available for immediate order. The other thing I must say is that this refrigerator is louder now than it was when I originally got it. At first I did not hear it from my bedroom but now I do. Other than that it is just a refrigerator and nothing special about it.

Too noisy!

I called and explained that the refrigerator makes a lot of noise. It was run at a very loud noise for at least 20 minutes each time. The noise seems to get louder and louder. I called and they tell me this is normal. I’ve owned a few refrigerators and I’ve never had any that I’ve had such a loud noise for such a prolong time. Although it seems to be working, I’m concerned that there’s something wrong with it but the customer service rep keeps saying it’s normal. I don’t believe that to be true. It also makes other noises which again the customer service rep says is normal. I had to wait four months because of Covid to get my refrigerator. Although I’m thrilled to have a normal size refrigerator, I’m very disappointed with the amount of noise that it makes when it runs. If this is normal, then it shouldn’t be!!!

Loud!

We not got This because of the specific size. It’s loud, the handles and doors always look dirty. The plastic wrap was almost impossible to get completely off. The butter door opens when you open the door. Sorry it’s just not what we expected. Will probably end up selling it on Craigslist and finding something else.
