Very loud!

Replaced my old GE unit as the fan went on it and was disappointed in the freezer layout of this model and the fact it is very loud. The entire fridge vibrates badly and and the fan is very audible even in the living room. Hopefully with time a person can get used to it because right now it is driving me nuts.

Ge refrigerator is a great quality product

I had a GE refrigerator for over 20 years my house was in a flood afterwards I plugged it in it still worked but we bought a new one.

More than you think

The refrigerator is shorter than my previous one yet there is much more room in freezer and cooling area, 10 degees below zero in freezer and ice cold drinks in cooling area. Really enjoying my new refrigerator. Great

Not what I ordered

I ordered model GTE16GTNRWW ( and paid for), but after 7 weeks, this model was dropped off. The only difference is, glass shelves versus wired shelves. So now, items tend to fall over, and due to it being short but deep, hard for elderly people to reach in. The geniuses at Bill Smith Appliances, said the correct model is on order. Not holding my breath until arrival. Will most likely replace this with a bigger one. Kind of noisy as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Freezer a little smaller than one I had
