Clasps can disengage

I use this as my daily commuter bag. It's got everything I wanted, and is light and roomy despite its small stature. However, the clasps can rotate and allow the bag to disengage and fall to the ground. Nothing a few zip ties can't fix, though it's hardly an elegant solution for a brand new bag. The first time it happened I thought I bumped the latch, but after four instances it is apparent what is happening. Neither my work laptop nor personal tablet seems worse for wear (well I have a newly dented corner on the laptop). But it's a shame that such a cheap clasp would be used on an otherwise nice bag.
Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Identify, Good Capacity, Lightweight
Cons: Poor Quality

Low quality latch

I saw someone else had this issue, the latch just seems to slide open as I'm walking. This just happened for the first time a month after I bought the bag and my laptop's casing has a piece broken off the corner. If you're carrying something important, maybe buy a different bag. It's sad because so far I've enjoyed the look/feel of the bag but I guess I'll have to find a replacement.

The Shoulder Strap for this Bag Was Poorly Designed

The bag is stylish and functional with multiple pockets for storage. However, the clasp on the strap frequently opens which causes the bag to drop off your shoulder and onto the floor. One my first business trip through the airport, this happened four times. It's very frustrating and continued drops are not good for items such as laptops and tablets.

Strap open multiple times and the bag fell with a labtop inside. The hooks would open with weight and gravity. One hole for hook is starting to tear from bag. My solution was to put rip-ties around hooks. No room inside for a messenger bag. Would not buy again

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for our son who is in college and has been wanting to switch from a backpack to a messenger bag. I researched lots of bags before deciding on this one -- this bag seemed to check all the boxes with the laptop compartment, a place for pens, phone, keys, an extra pocket on the outside for easy access, a padded shoulder strap, lightweight, durable fabric, etc. My son loved it and has already loaded it up with all his essentials and ready to start a new semester. One feature I'd have loved to see is an outside pouch for a water bottle. Nevertheless, this one was roomy enough for a water bottle in the inside (just would have been more convenient to be able to access on the outside).

It is so well thought it and all compartments zip shut so I'm not losing items under seats and in security scans.
