Ice maker does not produce well

The ice maker does not produce ice well at all. There is no light in the freezer. The refrigerator itself is noisy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi - We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your insights into your new model refrigerator and are saddened to hear you are not pleased with the icemaker production, the sound level and the lack of interior lighting in the freezer compartment.
Your icemaker under optimum conditions is designed to produce 7 cubes of ice every 70 to 80 minutes or so. The new model refrigerators do have high speed compressors and other components that will make normal sounds. These sounds are described on page 19 of the owner's manual - https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-1000478-2.pdf&_ga=2.264041292.1398448780.1649359925-106993869.1649359925 -- If the sounds you're hearing are not described in the manual, we would recommend having service check your refrigerator by calling 1-800-432-2737 to schedule a service appointment.
