OK. BUT, with ice maker it definitely needs a rack. What am I supposed to do with rack that does not fit with ice maker installed ?? Duh ? Food in freezer is then piled willy nilly ?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Little and energy efficient but all wire shelves

This little guy has cut my electricity bill down by about $25/month! Great price, and ordering through Home Depot was effortless. However, the size of the 2 produce drawers are very small, and there is no third drawer for deli meats and cheeses. Also, it is harder to store cans and bottles on wire racks than it would be on solid shelves. So, 2 things I would change about it: solid shelves instead of wire, and addition of a 3rd drawer.

Good size nice color

It is very appealing and looks nice for my kitchen. I wish it would be colder in the refrigerator when full.
I don't like where the button is located in the freezer. If the on off button were a snack it would of bitten me. I accidentally turned my freezer and it was off for a while and I lost alot of food (money).
I am still pleased with the refrigerator and freezer now that I know where the button is and I know not to hold the door open for long.

GREAT FEATURES!

Bought this for the office and so glad we did. We have only ever had a mini refrigerator over the past 18 years, and to be allowed a full-size refrigerator is awesome! So much room and the color is rich (black). Lots of room for food and drinks for clients, and associates. Textured to hide fingerprints; automatic ice maker; lots of room in door for gallon jugs of that sweet southern tea!

CHEAP, CHEERFUL, ENERGY EFFICIENT AND QUIET

Just purchased, base looks ugly (rough metal feet stick out), but apart from aesthetics, seems to be a solid energy efficent unit. Much quieter than our 10year old fridge/freezer.
